Robert Downey Jr. Teased ‘Endgame’ Before ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’
Adam Barnhardt

01/05/2019

Long before Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange told Tony Stark (Robert Downery Jr.) that they were “in the endgame now,” Stark said something similar in Avengers: Age of Ultron. In fact, Downey first mentioned the now-infamous word in a press junket prior to the debut of Age of Ultron.

In an interview on the press tour for the Joss Whedon-helmed film, Downey Jr. was describing what Stark would find himself doing in the second Avengers movie. The interview has begun circulating online again thanks to a tweet by Twitter user @ImAFilmEditor.

“He’s working on a system,” Downey said. “That will make it so the Avengers really won’t have to do what they’ve been doing all along which, purportedly should be the endgame.”

Coincidentally enough, Downey’s line in the interview nearly matches what his character says in the movie. In case you can’t remember when the line was said, it comes as the Avengers argue whether or not to move forward with Stark’s Ultron initiative.

“A hostile alien army came charging through a hole in space,” Stark said in the midst of the argument. “We’re standing three hundred feet below it. We’re the Avengers. We can bust arms dealers all the live long day but that, up there, that’s the endgame.”

At one point, Endgame was such an anticipated title, the Russo Brothers flat-out denied that it’d end up being the final name for the movie.

Avengers 4 stars Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Chris Evans (Captain America), Josh Brolin (Thanos), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), Brie Larson (Captain Marvel), Danai Gurira (Okoye), Evangeline Lilly (The Wasp), Paul Rudd (Ant-Man), Karen Gillan (Nebula), Mark Ruffalo (Hulk), Don Cheadle (War Machine), Bradley Cooper (Rocket Raccoon).

What do you hope to see in Avengers: Endgame? Do you think any of the Avengers will be unable to make it out alive? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!

Avengers: Endgame flies into theaters on April 26th. Other upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe movies include Captain Marvel on March 8th, 2019 and Spider-Man: Far From Home on July 5th, 2019.

Start Making $400 Monthly As A Student

What Do I Do Online?

How To Be Making $400+ Monthly As A Student

I’m a student, and many of my readers are too. Even our readers who are no longer students are also interested in making money online.
Last month alone,  I made $982 online, doing so many things. This might be too small for some people, like Harsh Agrawal of ShoutMeLoud.com who makes above $50,000 monthly. Converting it to Naira, it was a total of  354 thousand Naira (based on the present conversion rate)
I didn’t have to leave my house to work under any boss, of course  I’m a student. I only subscribed my modem and that was my only investment. I didn’t even run Facebook and Twitter ads as I normally did, and that was why I didn’t make much. Moreover my academics were too occupying that I hardly had more than  2 hours a day on my laptop. At the end of everything, I landed in  two hundred and nine thousand Naira!
I can’t share my account balance because it’s not that necessary, most internet marketers don’t do that.I’m not a Yahoo boy but I live better than most of them. Judging from the spiritual and emotional repercussions of their actions, you’d see that they are really in a mess. I just do some pretty petty jobs online and at the end of the month I get amazing $$$ in my bank account.

How To Be Making $400+ Monthly As A Student

I do so many things online. I’d share some of them below:
–  Blogging
I’m a blogger, at least for a year now I’ve been blogging. I have over four blogs but I’d share only three. You can check them up:  Reporter 247,  Know  Info Guide Africa and  Afra Tales.
If you check  Afra Tales, you will not see any AdSense. Does that mean that I’m not making any $$$ from it? Well, we all are blogging for money, so I should have sold it off if it was not my business. That blog, without AdSense makes me  minimum $20 a week. It’s the lowest among all my blog earnings because I put the lowest interest in it. You can even check to see when last I updated it. The rest make  two times the first. When I check how much I make from my blogs, they reach  $700 a month, that’s about  252, 350. However, I co-partner on them.

2.  I’m a freelancer
I write for people and get paid. Some of my clients pay as high as  $10 for a 450-500 words article, some pay as low as $3, but I always avoid the later. I always tell my students that anything you can do can pay you for life and I mean it. I even included a bonus e-book,  Actualizing Your Dreams As A Freelancer, where I enlisted almost everything you need to know about freelancing. I even included a website that will pay you  $100 (about N35, 000) for each of your articles they accept.
They are out to encourage writers but not everyone has heard about them. I put it down in my bonus e-book too.

3.  Graphics designs:
I don’t do this but my twin does. A simple logo, made with Corel Draw can land  you $30. The sweetest part is that it takes less than one hour to complete this. Imagine making ten graphics designs a week, you don’t even need to work again. That’s something more than $250, and that’s around  90, 000 in a week
How many civil servants make that in a month? The only problem is that you might not be able to find a buyer. That implies that your designs are all left to you, and you make no money with it. I have given out some easy tips to help you sell out yourself and make the real $$$.

4.  E-books
This is the sweetest of all my money making methods. My e-books have  sold as high as $50 per copy and as low as $0.99, depending on the demand and the volume of the e-book. E-books on health, relationship and money making tips make the biggest sells. However, I have seen people whose e-books sell only 2 copies, and that’s very discouraging.

5.  Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, etc
In September  I made $280 from my Facebook account. That is slightly above 100,000 Naira just to chat. I don’t even have more than two thousand friends in the account. My Twitter, with just 10,000 followers makes me about $20 a month. When I put my interest in Twitter and get up to 100,000 followers, you know what I’d be making.
You shouldn’t still be wondering how Justin Bieber, Barack Obama and other top influencers make so much amount of money from their influence after reading this e-book. That your Instagram account can be paying your bills.

6.  Website Creation and Designs
I’m not yet a guru in this but I created all my sites…Lol. I also create for people and get paid, but it’s only blogs anyways. If you can master other types of websites, then you should say good-bye to hunger for life. I’m too occupied to start this fully, but if you’re interested, then you can turn it into a career.

7.  Other things
Many other things such as selling of your photos, writing e-books for people and so on can help you land your desired $$$ in a month. I have an Indian friend who makes minimum $6,000 in a month. That is something close to  2,163,000. He has been dodging telling me his secrets and I’m yet to find them out. How many civil servants and graduates can boast of up to  50,000 monthly?

That is the level which Nigeria has fallen to. We cannot fall with Nigeria.
People are taking advantages of these falls in dollar rate to make more Naira than they ever made. Imagine getting paid in dollars, when you convert them you know what it means.

I have my students who are already making close to N70, 000 from the simple wealth tips I taught them. A graduate had to quit his job when he discovered that he could make more than $500 from his laptop.
Everyday you wake up, you pick up your laptop, do some petty jobs and get the money.

I want to teach you to be self reliant too.

Yes, the prayer of every teacher is for his student to be greater than him.  The sky is too big to contain us all. Every bird can fly comfortably.
What do I mean,  we all can be making more than  500,000 a month from the internet and yet it will not be saturated. Everyone can be a wealth blogger yet the new ones will not lack.

My third blog made me it’s first $50 less than three weeks after launching it. It doesn’t matter how long you have blogged, it doesn’t matter how long you have hustled online,  you can land your first $200 this month.

I have penned down the 20 Killer Tips That Can Land You A Comfortable Internet Career In A 72 Page E-book

I named it  Making Millions In Your Dark Room because it’s all about that.
The e-book is covering the following topics:

– Freelance Writing /Content Creation
– Test Websites & Apps
– Create A Niche Website/Website Flipping
– Website Publishing
– Email Marketing
– Selling Your Stuff Online i.e. CafePress
– Cartoon & Video Creation/YouTube

– Graphics Designing/Logo Creation
– Search Engine Optimization [ie SEO]
– App creation
– Customer Service
– Social Network/Forum Creation
– Social Media Advertising [e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram]
– Social Media Manager
– Ethical Hacking
– Blogging & Affiliate Marketing
– Tutor Students
–  Extras [how to get above 5,000 Instagram, Facebook and Twitter followers + likes [which you can then sell for money],  how to get AdSense approval without stress, how to get a 100,000 Facebook group members, etc]. You’ll also get access to our after sales coaching on making money online for a month.

…and as I promised, a bonus e-book, Actualizing Your Dreams As A Freelancer. I have covered some major tips to  land you over $200 a month from freelance writing in this 24-page guide.

The two e-books are on sale on Gumroad for $9.99 and $0.99 each. However, I have added the later as a bonus to the buyers of the first, so that you pay only $9.99.

Samsung sues its own brand ambassador for using an iPhone X on TV

  • Ksenia Sobchak is the face of Samsung in Russia, and is required to use Samsung-branded smartphones.
However, Sobchak used an iPhone X during a TV spot, attempting to hide the contraband behind a piece of paper.
Samsung is now suing the brand ambassador for the equivalent of $1.6 million.
It’s not unusual for brands to pay celebrities to use their products. Some brands even go so far as to pay celebrities mountains of cash to only use that company’s products, at least when they are in a public setting.
Samsung is one such company and has paid celebrities like musician Adam Levine and tennis star David Ferrer to use Samsung smartphones. However, both of those celebrities were caught using iPhones instead.
Apparently, Samsung is done messing around, as the latest Samsung brand ambassador to be caught using an iPhone is now getting sued by the company to the tune of 108 million Russian rubles (~$1.6 million), via The Mirror.
Russian journalist, politician, and reality TV star — and Russian president Vladimir Putin’s so-called “goddaughter” — Ksenia Sobchak is the face of Samsung in Russia. As such, she is paid to exclusively use Samsung electronics publicly. However, on a recent live television stint, Sobchak can clearly be seen using an iPhone — likely aniPhone X, although it’s hard to be 100 percent certain.
Sobchak tried her best by using her fingers to hide the Apple logo and then using a piece of paper to hide it on the table:
To Samsung’s credit, the potential $1.6 million penalty isn’t for a first infraction: Sobchak has apparently been caught using an iPhone in public on multiple previous occasions.
AppleInsider speculates the $1.6 million penalty is actually more than Samsung is even paying her, which is pretty brutal.
However, it’s hard to feel sorry for anyone who makes millions from simply using one type of smartphone — and then messes it up. Seriously, I’m a diehard Android fanboyand I’ll use whatever Apple wants for millions of dollars. I’ll get an Apple logo tattoo. On my face.

20 things you didn’t know you could do with Google Search »

Google Search is the place Nigerians go to answer questions they are too embarrassed to ask their friends. From answering questions to weather forecasts and sports results, Google has developed some pretty cool features over the years.

Search turned 20 recently, and we’ve compiled 20 of the most useful tips and tricks to help you search, that many people don’t know about.
Find events: With your phone, simply search for ‘events near me’ or for a specific event type like ‘food festivals’ and you’ll see listings for local activities from around the web.
Movie showtimes and tickets: Type ‘movie showtimes’ into the Search bar to get showtimes, theater locations, and ratings all in one place. It makes it easy to decide which movie and location work best for you (and then to buy your tickets in advance).
Recipe search: Got a craving for jollof rice? Type ‘jollof rice’ into the search bar and Google will show you a host of recipe suggestions, so you’re guaranteed to find one exactly to your taste.
Live sports scores: Search makes it easy to stay up on the latest scores, whether you’re a fervent fantasy sports aficionado or a casual fan. Type in the name of your favourite team or league (like the NPFL), and get real-time scores and recaps from recent games.
Weather forecast: Planning a trip somewhere and need to know what to pack? Simply search ‘weather (and the location)’ and right there on your search results page, you’ll get the forecast for the next week.
Find a job: Now available in more than 100 countries around the world, you can search for jobs right on Google. Try searching for ‘jobs near me’ or ‘retail jobs’ to explore jobs from across the web. You can also save jobs set up alerts, map your potential commute and click through to apply.
Set a timer: Need to monitor your dinner while you’re elsewhere in the house? Set a timer by typing ‘set a timer to 12 minutes and 45 seconds’ and Google will sound an alarm when the time is up.
Help with health questions: Not feeling so good? Type your ailment name into the search bar and, if it’s a common condition like influenza or a sprained ankle, you’ll find relevant medical facts in a knowledge panel. Google will show you typical symptoms, treatments, how common the condition is, whether it’s critical or contagious, ages of people affected and more — all from reliable sources and vetted by doctors.
Tip calculator: You can use Google to calculate your tip when you’re in a restaurant. Simply search for ‘tip calculator’, enter the cost of your meal, and the percentage you want to tip. You can even ask Google to help you split the bill evenly with your friends.
Convert cash: If you’re heading out on a trip, here’s a tool that makes a ton of cents – real-time currency conversions right on Google. Search for something like ‘$500 in naira’ and you’ll get a box with the current exchange rate and an interactive graph to let you explore the changes over time.
Track packages: You can enter any UPS, USPS, or Fedex tracking number directly into the Google search bar, and it’ll show you the tracking information about your package.
Keep track of your life: If you don’t want to toggle through your tabs, Search can help you find information about your upcoming plans. If you’re logged into your Google account, search for ‘my trips’ or ‘my appointments’ and Google will show you (and only you!) your upcoming flights, hotel reservations and schedule from Gmail and Google Calendar.
Get the numbers about your food:Watching your weight? You can search for nutritional information and find out the number of calories in your everyday foods. For example, ask Google ‘how much fat is there in chocolate cake?’ or ‘how much sugar is there in tomato sauce?’ and Google will break down the nutritional stats for you.
Definitions and synonyms: You can use Google as a dictionary and thesaurus. Try searching for ‘what does loquacious mean?’ and you might find yourself talking nonstop about this feature.
Ask complex multi-part questions: Google really does have the answer to just about everything – no matter how complex. For example, if you search ‘when were the members of Plantashun Boiz born?’, you will see the birth dates of ‎2baba Idibia‎, ‎Faze and ‎Blackface.
Search with an image: On your computer, upload your own photo to Google Images to find the same or similar photos on the web. Click on the camera icon in Google Images and Google will also tell you the origin and other details about the photo. Now you can know where that meme really came from.
Check how to say massive numbers correctly: Type in any long number and add ‘=english’ to the end of your search and you’ll find the correct way to spell out the number in words. Try it for 6006131520.
Search within a time period: You can narrow your search to a specific date range and see only content published during that time. This can be useful if you’re looking for insight into how a news topic may have been covered at a certain point in time or looking for resources for a history paper, perhaps.
Search within a site: If you’re looking for an article or page from a specific publisher, Search will let you focus your results on that single website. Just add ‘site:’ ahead of the web URL to limit your results to that publisher – for example, site:cnn.com (you need to drop the www). You can then sort by recency or add additional keywords to narrow down your search.
Advanced search: If all of these tricks still don’t get you what you need, you can use Advanced Search to apply a number of filters, like specifying terms you want to exclude or only find pages that are in certain languages, regions, sites or file formats.

13Secret whatsapp trick you might not know about

WhatsApp. Wonderful, wonderful, WhatsApp. The messaging service that made BBM look boring and text messages redundant. Of course there are now heaps of messaging services around, but WhatsApp has had a massive head start on almost all of them, meaning it has tonnes of features. You can read all about what it is and how it works in our WhatsApp feature, but for those who already know the beauty of the service, here are some secret tips you might not know about.
Apple users can get Siri to read any unread WhatsApp messages, once you have followed the steps to give the personal assistant access. You can also get Siri to reply to the message with your voice or start a new message to a contact.
iOS: “Hey Siri, read my last WhatsApp message” > “Hey Siri, send a WhatsApp message to [contact]”
Those blue ticks can get you in a whole world of trouble, especially when you don’t reply instantly and someone sees you have read their messages. You can turn them off, but it’s worth noting that if you do, you won’t get read receipts for your messages either.

Apple users: If you get Siri to read the message, the blue ticks won’t appear so this could be a good way to read a message without the sender knowing you have.
iOS: Settings > Account > Privacy > Toggle off Read Receipts.
Android: Settings > Account > Privacy > Untick Read Receipts.
Sometimes certain words need more emphasis and shouty caps just isn’t going to cut it. Don’t worry, WhatsApp allows you to make whichever words or phrases you want bold, italic, or strikethrough them altogether.
iOS and Android: Add an asterisk either side of the word or phrase for *bold*. Add an underscore either side of the word or phrase for _italic_. Add a tildes to either side of the word or phase for ~strikethrough~.

Who is really your favourite person? It might not be who you think. On iOS, there is a way to find the people you send the most messages to and how much storage each person takes up, among other things.
iOS: Settings > Data and Storage Usage > Storage Usage > Select Contact
If you’re prone to forgetting dates mentioned in various chats, it’s possible to automatically create an event directly from WhatsApp on iOS.
iOS: Press and hold date within chat > Create Event
Ever been out and about, read a chat and then completely forgot to reply? We do it all the time. There is a way to mark important chats with dot to remind you to go back to it though.
iOS: Chats >  Swipe left to right > Mark as Unread
Android: Long press chat > Open Menu > Mark as Unread
Ever passed your phone to a friend and instantly panicked about the messages they might see come through? Yeah, we haven’t either. For those that have, you can turn off message preview on iOS so only the contact’s name will appear, rather than their life story, or you can turn off notifications altogether.
In Android, it’s not possible through the WhatsApp app but you can stop private information showing up on your lock screen in Android itself.
iOS: Settings > Notifications > Toggle off Show Preview / Settings > Notifications > Toggle off Show Notifications
You might not want everyone to see your profile picture, especially if you’re part of several groups where you don’t know everyone in the group. Or perhaps you just fancy being a little mysterious for the day. Either way, you can choose if everyone, no-one, or only your contacts see your picture.
iOS & Android: Settings > Account > Privacy > Profile Photo

Do you have a few extra special people you talk to all the time via WhatsApp? We do too. You can create a shortcut for specific conversations on Android, making it easier to access those chats you need all the time.
Android: Chats > Specific chat > Menu > More > Add Shortcut or Chats > Press and hold individual chat > Menu > Add Chat Shortcut
Apple users can see which contacts they have unread messages from without opening the WhatsApp app by adding the WhatsApp Recent Chats widget to their device. Up to eight of your latest chats will appear within the recent chats widget when you swipe left to right from your main home screen or lock screen.
The widget shows the circular profile picture icon with a number of how many unread chats you have from that particular contact. You can then click on the chat you want to read and WhatsApp will open on that specific chat.
iOS: Swipe left to right from your lock screen or your main home screen > Scroll down to the Edit icon at the bottom > Add the WhatsApp Recent Chats icon > Rearrange the order of your widgets
Some messages are more important than others. Whether it’s a date you need to remember, or a good restaurant you’ve been recommended. It’s possible to bookmark these messages and find them all easily in the Starred Messages section.
iOS: Chats > Specific chat > Specific message > Double tap or hold down and press the star
Android: Chats > Specific chat > Specific message > Hold down and press the star
Ever had a free evening and wanted to ask several of your friends if they are around without having to open up each chat to ask them seperately?
You can send a broadcast message to a list of contacts with it appearing as though you’ve asked them individually. Great for saving time, terrible if they all reply yes.
iOS: Chats > Broadcast Lists > New List > Add contacts
Android: Chats > Menu > Ne
w Broadcast  .

There might be certain contacts you want to know instantly if they are calling or messaging you. To make sure they don’t blend into the crowd, you can change their specific alert tones so you recognise when that particular person has sent you a message or is WhatsApp calling you.
iOS & Android: Chats > Specific chat > Tap on contact name at top > Custom Notifications

85% Of mad people in Nigeria are youth-medical doctor

A Medical Doctor, Dr Aliyu Abubakar of Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital (ABUTH), Zaria, has said that the youths account for over 85 per cent of mad people in Nigeria.
Abubakar made the remark in a paper he presented at a sensitisation workshop for youths organised by Bizara Youth Development Association in Zaria Local Government Area of Kaduna State entitled: “Drug Abuse in Nigeria: Causes, Effects and Solutions.”
He said:-
“According to a recent study, 85 per cent of mad people in Nigeria are youths within the age bracket of 18-38 years.
The major cause of mental challenge in Nigeria has gone beyond drug-abuse as the youths now inhale lizard feces, putting their noses into pit toilets, smoking matches, smoking dried horse feces and mixing lizard feces with dye powder.
Drug abuse disorder is a common problem affecting about 5 per cent of the of the world population with an estimated 10.2 per cent in the USA.”
He recalled that in Nigeria, it was recently reported that about three million bottles of cough syrup containing codeine is consumed daily in Kano State and about six million bottles consumed in the North-West. Abubakar added that in 2016, the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency reported that about 40 per cent of Nigerian youths engaged in drug-abuse.
The medical doctor stressed that the consequences of drug-abuse include mental disorder, liver cirrhosis, lethargy and cardiovascular disorder among others.
Abubakar added that those abusing drugs mostly drop out of school, engage in cultism, violence, arm-robbery, thuggery, rape,
lawlessness, murders and are culturally disorientated.
